Fishing on Lake Oconee
This part of the lake is known for great fishing from the land or the water. Lake Oconee is home to thriving populations of largemouth and hybrid bass, as well as crappie and sunfish. Relatively little vegetation or standing timber in the water means the waterfront homesites and private docks can be some of the best places to land great fish.
